Today, Hattiesburg unveiled the city’s 56th mural, Corazón de la Comunidad (Heart of the Community), on Jackson Street adjacent to the Longleaf Trace. The mural was created by Hector Boldo, a talented local artist who lives nearby. “It represents love, unity, and I also wanted to bring something really bright and colorful to this neighborhood of North Main,” said Hector. “And it’s important to me not just because I’m an artist, but I also live in this neighborhood, and revitalizing and transforming this neighborhood, it has been great to be a part of.”"
The Edmonson family was proud to play a part in sponsoring this mural. Our family has now sponsored five murals and expects to assist with many more!
